Do You Hear The Actors Sing?
Someone out there has collected clips of all the actors in the upcoming Les Miserables film to show their singing abilities. I suddenly feel a lot better about the film.

nah sorry, we gotta share that award
‘sup guys i’m here to accept this award with you please don’t mind my drool.
You’re welcome.
…I think I’ll be taking one of these for myself, while I’m here.
It’s all the fault of you guys I’m now drafting a mini essay on Seishirou’s character and Sekka/Setsuka on top of everything else I’m now writing in my reawakened enthusiasm for fandom and fanficcing.

The fact that Australia is so completely indifferent to mac and cheese often makes me want to find the country’s face so I can slap it.
Show me a /good/ mac&cheese and I may be less indifferent.

A Swan Song (For Nina) - Clint Mansell and Pytor Tchaikovsky
I love the soundtrack for Black Swan - obviously Tchaikovsky’s score for this ballet is breathtakingly beautiful, but Clint Mansell’s interpretation and re-scoring for the movie is incredibly interesting musically. The way the piano strips down the Swan Lake theme to its bare beats before fully realising it and only very reluctantly allowing the chords to resolve while throwing in a few dischordant notes and smashing glass before trailing out on a very unsettling bit of warped strings … creepy, and completely evocative of the film.
Still the most epic promotion ever.
Sadako 3D is coming, guys.
Oh, sweet jesus, imagining Sadako in 3D is TERRIFYING.
